Home of Tasmania's most famous cheeses! Pyengana has a long heritage of cheese making. Cheese production started in the area in the early 1900's and has never ceased. Pyengana's cloth bound cheddar is nationally recognised,being awarded gold medals at all national cheese shows in recent years. After you try our cheese,sit down for a coffee, or a traditional ploughman's lunch in the Holy Cow Caf'e. Sunday Roast avaliable all day - Sunday.
All meals are made on-site from fresh local ingredients. The Holy Cow Caf'e is fully licensed,serving award-winning Tasmanian wines and beers.
